pedr666 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Share Posted February 23, 2007 ok,i hav sprayed my explorer in satin black(i have done all the rest,priming etc)and it looks pretty dam good from a distance and not to bad close up,i guess u can never truely get a smooth finish as no final sanding is done on satin(or is it?). im happy with the finish but the trouble i have is it marks so easily,i mean you only have to very slightly touch it with something and it leaves a line or mark. now should i lacquer it to protect it? if i lacquer it then im gona have to sand it down smooth which will leave a flat black finish not satin. is it not possible to get a durable none marking satin finish? please help cheeers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
