curtisa Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 (edited) Does it have to be 100K? I can find 50K and 500K doing a Google search. You might get lucky if you can lay your hands on an old car stereo or TV maybe? Edited March 29, 2007 by curtisa Quote

curtisa Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 What if you get the dual 500K one and wire a 120K resistor in parallel with the two outer lugs of each pot? With the resistors in parallel with the pot elements the total resistance of each element will drop to 96K - pretty damn close to 100K. Quote

venominox Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 Here's what you do, buy any stacked pot and pry the case off gently and replace the phenolic wafers and you can mix and match whichever wafers you need, in this case it will be 2 100 ohmers. Simple way to make a custom potentiometer. Quote
CrazyManAndy Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 I second what venominox said. That is probably your best bet. This link might be helpful: http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/potsecrets/potscret.htm CMA Quote
