kmw
I hope I posted this in the proper forum....all apologies if I messed up. So here is my newbie question .... how do you go about replacing the pots, switch, jack, and pickups on a semi-hollowbody? I upgrade the electric components on my solid-body tele, but I am baffled when it comes to the semi-hollow bodied guitars... do you go through the sound holes for the pots etc. ? Do you need special tools? I did a search, but nothing popped up ... any info would be appreciated! thanks, kmw Update....... sorry I just found the hollow-body tutorial ..... I don't know why it did not show up in my search. Any added comments or tips are welcome. Edited May 18, 2007 by kmw
Mattia
Through the F-holes and/or pickup holes, and tie string/fishing line to the pot shafts before you let them go.
