pour bleeding me
in the tutorial pictures...like the material finish one...i noticed the body has like a primer on it....the body is a solid color..what is that? and why is it there? thanks
weezerboy
the primer is generally to get the coats on top of it to have something to grip onto and also helps increase the total number of coats which in turn affects the final result, in the case of the material finish it is probably used to give the material adhesive something to grip onto as some materials/adhesives don't bond together. Brian
weezerboy was mostly correct but the main purpose I had in mind was making sure I didn't have primer on the material as an overspray since the body really needed it for the base coat of color around the side's and in the cavitys.
