Single Coil Brackets

Hey guys,

I bought the book 'Make your own electric guitar and bass' by Dennis Waring and David Raymond and they build a nice guitar in that. I have a set of 3 Lace Single coil pickups i want to use in the guitar i make yet i dont want to use a pickguard and electrics under the strings like in a standard strat, i pretty much want to follow the design of this guitar in the book except with single coils. Can you get brackets that hold song coils in place. I am thinking you are most likey able to and if so why dont we see more guitars with 3 single coils that isnt a copy of a strat.

Thats them, i just need to find an aussie guitar parts shop with em, shouldnt be too hard, i was given the name of a fair few a week or so ago.

try here its an oz site which claims to be dealers for wd and allparts so i say e-mail them and find out.
