Rokstar
Hey guys, I'm considering a Warmoth EVH body to build my dream custom. It appears the bodies are pre-drilled for the necks. I was wanting to use washers (neck ferrels from Allparts) instead of a neck plate, but I don't know if the pre-drilled holes are too close to the edge to have these washers counter sunk after I get the painted body? Has anyone tried this?
RAI6
Ask them to omit those holes when you order the body......
Rokstar
Ask them to omit those holes when you order the body...... Yeah I was thinking that, I think they'll up charge for that, they do for the necks anyway. I'll probably have to do that...
mammoth guitars
Fill the holes with epoxy wood filler and redrill so the ferrules will cover the filled hole. Once assembled you will never know the difference.
