pdizzle
I got a guitar from guitar fetish for $100 its all maple, ibanezs shape, but in the inner corner of the right horn , somebody sanded through it, it doesnt look terrible, but I was wondering if I should just sand through the rest of it, then sand. Here's what it looks like I would like to stain it to look like herman li's, I don't like dragonfore, but I love his prestige Thanks guys, Patrick
Ben
I vote for a burst finish to cover that spot.
pdizzle
a burst? like sunburst or silverburst? is that what you mean?
iskim86
yeah solid color or a burst so a black on the outside, and a different color of your choice inside. i think you should stain it for the inside so it shows the grain
pdizzle
well, i was thinking about sand through the quilted-ness. Using grain filler, then stain, would that work?
PTU 7's.
Maybe you can sand a center line, and left in the sides the quilted. That would be a nice idea.
