Geo Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Sounds good, as far as I can tell on this crappy soundcard. I don't go in for modern metal, but you sure got some pitch (pinch??) harmonics in there! Quote
grungehead Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 nice harmonics! zakk wylde version of crazy train right? where'd you get it for 22 bucks from? Quote
killemall8 Posted June 20, 2007 Author Report Posted June 20, 2007 nice harmonics! zakk wylde version of crazy train right? where'd you get it for 22 bucks from? yup zakks version. i got it from ebay. from a seller called "tricked out guitar" i think they are being sold for 24 now. still a great deal. they have a ton of great pickups for cheap. but i just checked and they dont have them in stock right now. but check out the store http://stores.ebay.com/Tricked-Out-Guitar and here is a pickup that will sound better than this one http://cgi.ebay.com/TOG-HOT-BLADE-QUAD-RAI...0QQcmdZViewItem Quote
GregP Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Guess it depends on your definition of 'better'. Ultra-hot Quad-Rails pickups don't do it for me. Quote
killemall8 Posted June 20, 2007 Author Report Posted June 20, 2007 Guess it depends on your definition of 'better'. Ultra-hot Quad-Rails pickups don't do it for me. i had one in a v guitar i had before. yes it does extremly high output. but it handles distortion very well and doesnt get muddy. but you definitly need a neck pickup with it, because the cleans arnt that great Quote
