(should i send it to ground?) clicky more specifically, i made this diagram from it... is there anything wrong with it? i dont want to screw up later... part2: where would i add a master tone? 2) is there anything wrong with making a guitar with a 0 degree neck angle? 3) what is the cheapest and easiest material to make routing template out of? 4) would a control cavity with no shielded backplate cause hum? thanks for even reading this far.. a million thanks to those who answer. peace guys. fookgub
1. Looks fine to me. 2. Depends on your bridge height. Most guitars require some angle, even Fenders (that's why they are often shimmed). If you build with no angle, you may have to elevate the neck slightly. All this stuff is in Hiscock's book, which I highly recommend. 3. MDF 4. It won't cause hum, but it may be more susceptible to hum.

CrazyManAndy
Medium Density Fiberboard. You should be able to find it at a Lowes or Home Depot. CMA
Geo
Master tone: break the final output wire that attaches to the jack. Put the tone control there.
