Pastulio132 Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 I've started drilling out the cavity ( which takes up most of the body) and I've realised that I wasn't drilling as deep as I thought I was. As it is now, the cavity will end up being 3/4" deep after routing. Is this too shallow for a hollow body cavity? The original plan was to make it 1" deep, would this be better if I want a more mellow sound and would it be worth drilling deeper? Quote
