wherever-i-roam
this is probably a stupid question, but i have an old guitar (set neck) but i hate the body, would it be possible to cut bits off and add bits to make it a large piece of wood again to cut a diff body shape from, e.g. a V???? rubber314chicken
yeah its POSSIBLE, but I wouldn't do it. it would probably be cheaper to sell it and buy one you like, or sell it, and build one (assuming you have all the major tools) what guitar is it? wherever-i-roam
some crappy SG copy that ive butchered and took all the paint off and cut part of the headstock off... i dont have much money and i doubt i could sell it for much, nevermind now! so i was trying to think of cheapish ways to do something cool with it
rubber314chicken
yeah, you could then, since its already been butchered. I would try to remove it with steam first, though, becuase it if probably hide glue, which softens with heat.
