ibanezplayer Posted August 5, 2007 Report Share Posted August 5, 2007 I just need some easy advice about what paints adhere best with the lacquer and such, im planning on using the mohawk nitrocellulose laquer and I wanna do a gun metal gray, like a few of the jackson guitars have. does anyone know of any paint brands with this colour that will work properly with my lacquer? croaticum Posted August 6, 2007 Report Share Posted August 6, 2007 ppg they have big range of metallic and pearl colors. Or you can go to any of your local store and chose any nitro color you like. Be sure not to mix nitro with any other kind 'cos youll end up with paint rising. Try to use searsh box, i am sure youll end up with planty of answers regarding this, cos we disscused it few times ower the years.
