acanadian Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Hi everybody, my first time posting here and it is also my first time painting a guitar myself. I hear the words "get Krylon" a lot. And i was wondering, what kind of krylon paint? Are the short cuts Aerosol good enough to use on a guitar? Can you clear coat over them? I was wondering because they have some wicked colours. Here is a link if you dont know what im talking about: http://www.krylon.com/main/product_templat...product_details Thanking you in advance, acanadian p.s I would like to paint my pickguard too. Is that possible? Quote
low end fuzz Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 there is an 'all purpose' krlon for ,i think plastic and metal , that works great over sealer on guitars; the one i seen done was there glossy black; still alot of work, but it was a sucsess i think 3 cans were used for one carvin Quote

Would it be okay to just go ahead and use the spray? Could i use any old acrylic spray? Quote
low end fuzz Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 ya.....but if you primer it, youve sealed it, which is the same thing.....so.........yes? Quote
