Relic-exacto Checking Or Freeze The Body

Im trying to get my courage up to do some checking somehow on my Nitro finished body.

Im kinda leaning towards the exacto knife method, because I have would have some control on whats happening

I'd be willing to try the "freeze the body method", I just want it to be cross grain and no spider web cracking.

I don't know it the compressed air stuff will give the more natural look... thoughts?

I would appreciate any info of anybody elses attempts, success, failures, blade size, etc.

If you're going for a natural look, the freezer method would be the way to go. It would look a lot more natural IMHO.

If you want to distress the look of your guitar you could roll a rock over it a few times.
