lonesomedave Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Im trying to get my courage up to do some checking somehow on my Nitro finished body. Im kinda leaning towards the exacto knife method, because I have would have some control on whats happening I'd be willing to try the "freeze the body method", I just want it to be cross grain and no spider web cracking. I don't know it the compressed air stuff will give the more natural look... thoughts? I would appreciate any info of anybody elses attempts, success, failures, blade size, etc. Many Thanx- Dave http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=847494242&size=m Quote
hotgoalie11565 Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 If you're going for a natural look, the freezer method would be the way to go. It would look a lot more natural IMHO. Quote
guitart Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 If you want to distress the look of your guitar you could roll a rock over it a few times. Quote
