George Jetson
Hi everyone, I have had this notion to turn one of my plain jane Squier 51 maple necks into a Jazz Bass lookalike. Problem is I can't seem to find any precut black phenolic or acrylic rectangles to do the job. Am I barking up the wrong tree? I don't have a whole lot of inlay equipment, basically just a dremel router to work on the neck. What is generally used for these soild black rectangles? Thanks

George Jetson
here are some cheap pre cut inlays http://stores.ebay.com/The-Guitar-Parts-Ce...6QQftidZ2QQtZkm Thanks, the black acrylic gibson rectangles may be close enough that I can sand/shape them for the jazz bass effect.
