rubber314chicken Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 the top is neck tone, and the bottom is middle tone. if you have bridge and middle selected, the middle tone will also affect the bridge, and for neck and middle, which ever one is lower will be the tone control. Quote

Setain Posted August 18, 2007 Report Posted August 18, 2007 Neither of the tone controls effect it. Which is why some people (myself included) move the second tone control from the middle pup to the bridge pup. Quote
EKO Posted August 18, 2007 Author Report Posted August 18, 2007 wow. i never would've thought they were that useless. thanks for the help anyway. Im working on a Mandolin Guitar doubleneck. Im gonna take strat electronics and put the neck pickup on the mandolin and the middle shall become the neck for the guitar. So in this way the strat tone setup may become handy! Quote
