RAI6
I take it you have read the tutorials on material finishing....? The way it is usually done, is by doing a burst to hide the plain looking edge. But since you're covering your guitar in plastic, have you even planned on putting a finish on it? If you have, how does the plastic wrap react to your paint?
cukaracha
i don't want a burst finish. i want to 'preserve' the silver look. and its fine with lacquer based clear as long as its done in thin passes. but about the burst, if you were me, what would you do? what colour would be a good colour for the burst? nerosrevenge
If it is silver, then I would do a darker silver. Still silver but perhaps a neat effect. STV.
