Daniel Sorbera
A friend of mine needs an attenuator for a 100watt tube amp. Does anyone have any links or info for DIY attenuators that could handle that load? I found some designs for 15watt amps but it said they don't work well for high power outputs. Maiden69
https://taweber.powweb.com/store/kits_weber.htm#Atten I did a quick search and found this one. Looks fairly simple to build, I don;t know about the price since this is the first one I look into. Since I'm planning on building an Amp after the hollidays, this would be into the to do list! Daniel Sorbera
Thanks for the link maiden. I can build it off that schematic without having to purchase that pricey kit.
Maiden69
Yes. It is pricey! I'm looking at his British kits, and I think that I will order one for Xmas! At least that way I know that the parts will be complete and I won't have to deal with the looking around. Now, the decision... 18W, 40W, 50W or the 100W........
