I'm Lost Here

Ok, and you probably don't know, I'm building a strat shaped guitar with no pick guard, hard tail bridge, 2 humbuckers (black with cream mounting rings) 1 vol, 1 tone and 1 3-way Gibson style switch. Anyways, I'm making the guitar out of an old table I found in my grandmothers garage. Now, the grain looks like something from an 80's cabinet from a trailer park. So, I don't know what color to go with, that'll match the CREAM pickup mounting rings.

I was going to do a sunburst, but now I'm not too sure, still might though. what do you think?

Black?

White & cream looks nice. Red and cream is okay (definitely not my favourite), but black and cream is a really classy, classic look.

Different shades of green go nicely, especially some of the 50's car colors. Check out the reranch forum, they do a lot of the pastel colors and a lot of them work nicely with cream.
