Jemram Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Ok I had a little accident yesterday with my guitar and cracked the headstock off It's only a £250/$500 guitar so I'm not too annoyed! Though it did play really nicely. I'm going to repair that with some wood glue and a ratchet strap to apply some gentle pressure as it dries. Once it set, I'm going to remove all the clear varnish and then give the guitar a more contoured shape, something along the lines of an Ibanez JS. It's then going to be an oiled natural finish. Any tips would be great as I've not done this sort of thing to a guitar before! Quote
