scott from _actual time_
i need to refinish some areas that were sanded down on on a factory neck, a strip about 5" long and 3/4" wide. it's a cheap asian-made maple neck with a satin finish. i'd like to mimic that finish as close as possible. what sort of clear spray is a good choice for this? i don't want to use nitro or anything with harsh solvents that might dissolve the factory finish, and i don't want to sand the entire neck and start from scratch. something available in rattlecans would be ideal--i don't own a spray rig. thanks.
