jsnhavoc
I know that when wiring emgs with a 2 volume and 2 tone confuguration there is a capacitor in between each volume and tone control. I'm wiring a guitar with a two volume one tone configuration. In the diagram there is no capicitors between the either of the volumes and the tone pot. There is comething that looks like a capacitor on the tone pot, but its not the same shape as the caps included with the pickups. The caps I have are 104k but I dont know what I should be using. The diagram is all the way at the bottom of this page. http://www.emgpickups.com/downloads/wiring...EMG-Hseries.pdf Hope somebody knows what I need. Thanks in advance. -AJC
crafty
You're okay. Just use the cap that came with the pickups. Caps are all shapes and sizes. As long as it's the right value, which '104' is coded for .1 microfarads, then you should be just fine. BTW, the little cap in the diagram does say .1 on it.
