spacecowboy Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 Hey question would this work? I just want 1 Master volume, i'm going 2 replace the other volume with a Varitone. If you dont know what it is, click here for info http://alexplorer.net/guitar/mods/varitone.html This is my first wiring job (but i've done re-wiring before. Quote
rubber314chicken Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 no, first the output from the switch is the middle lug, then that goes to volume and out. then each pickup will go to the middle lug of the corresponding tone pot, and then the right lug would go to the input of the varitone Quote
spacecowboy Posted January 7, 2008 Author Report Posted January 7, 2008 sorry i think i lost u in there, Each pickup goes to their tone pot (middle lug) Middle lug in the switch goes to middle lug in master vol, and to the output How do the tones and the varitone get connected 2 the switch or the vol? Quote
spacecowboy Posted January 7, 2008 Author Report Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) Okay so i did more research and i think that this SHOULD work. Question if this does work, do i put caps on each tone pots and ground them? or do i connect tone caps to the vol pot? -Also my humbuckers only have 1 wire each, can i put them in phase or out? Thanks! Edited January 7, 2008 by spacecowboy Quote
