RGXDave
Hey,I am building a Partocaster and I got some Grover vintage style single line tuners for it. I can't figure out how to put strings on them and there is nothing on the net. Pics would be appreciated. Thanks,
GregP
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking-- pics would be appreciated from your direction. Reason being, there shouldn't be anything weird or interesting about stringing up. If I could see a pic, I might be able to say "aha! That's why it's weird!" but until then it just makes me wonder why it'd be any different from stringing up any other style of tuner.
RGXDave
http://www.elderly.com/images/fmic/30N/F60...stock-front.jpg From what I can see, they poke in thru the top and then you bend and wind. It doesn't matter tho,I found a tutorial on the Telecaster Forum.
Acousticraft
Have a look in this Fender guide under the Vintage key section. I have the same on mine and this guide worked perfectly for me so you can precut the string to the correct length to get the right amount of windings on the post. http://www.fender.com/support/stratocaster.php Edited February 4, 2008 by Acousticraft
