Scale on this guitar is 648mm(25.5), can you tell me, from where is it measured (sorry on my bad English) . I know that it goes from nut, but which point is last point of measuring? help please!! Scale length is measured from the front of the nut to the bridge where the string sits in the saddle - the front of the nut being the side that butts onto the fretboard, the back of the nut faces the headstock & tuners... aidlook Posted February 10, 2008 Report Share Posted February 10, 2008 To try to explain it a bit clearer for the original poster: The scale length is the distance from the nut to the bridge, but you might have noticed that that distance is not the same for every saddle so it's not a good place to measure. The 12:th fret is supposed to be exactly half-way to the bridge and therefore you can measure the distance from the nut to the 12:th fret and multiply that number by 2.
