stringkilla Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Will the cord for the guitar power one LED ?. On a side issue not being electronically minded, can someone suggest a simple circuit for one LED and a battery ? Thanks guys. Quote
Bmth Builder Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 (edited) No I doubt it, pickups produce very little out put, and LEDs require something like 2V just to work. A circuit could be just a LED connected to a battery (as long as the voltages match) or a switch between them. If you want to use a higher voltage battery you will have to use a resitor between the LED and battery, the value of which will depend on R = V/I (an equation for determing resitance by diving the supply voltage by the current in the circuit) Edited May 3, 2008 by Neil Beith Quote
Bizzar_Guitars Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Here's a link to a site I found that'll help you figure out you LED issues: LED Wizard Hope that helps. Ciao, Garth Quote
