Snork
Ok i knwo i keep changing crap around. i will build this guitar in the next 4 months. Do you think that a 3 piece solid body would work? i was thinking a carved koa top and bottom and a bubinga middle. Yes it would be EXTREMELY heavy. I know. but I think the tone would kill. especially coupled with a 3 piece neck of some sort. if you guys could help me with my other post it would be nice. and probably an ebony fingerboard. Do you think that this configuration would work? or would the tone blow?
Roli
What about routing cavities into the center piece? That way you could even add some 'hollowbody-tune' to the soup.
Snork
Lol i was thinkin that. but i dont know how that would fare with a deep tenon neck. and pickups pressed in. BAH! confused.
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
Yeah, hollow it out, but leave like 3" in the middle for the pups.
