Ozzmanx87
Well, I've come to a problem with one of my first guitars.... My ol' Yahmaha. Anyways, I was playing with it a while ago and I switched tones with the Toggle switch. The sound just cut off and now nothing comes out. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing it at home, I'm gonna need it very soon (tomorrow). -me
renablistic
if it has a pickguard, take it off, else take off the rear route cover. Take a peep at the inside wires, seems intimidating, huh? now, look for any wires that aren't connected to anything. Once you've found one, look for a drop of sodder that looks like a wire feel off of it. No sodder the wire to this place. Continue these steps until done. If there is more than one, connect each wire to the closest sodder hole. Thats about it. If this doesn't work, post here again.

weezerboy
then look for wires that don't look like they have a very strong connection..also look for a dullness to the soldering..it could be a weak, oxidised joint dan
