avengers63
What grits of sandpaper should be used for fret dressing? I bought a neck recently that needs a little attention on the edges of the fretboatd.
Flon Klar Guitars
After I crown frets, I start with 320 paper, then go up with 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, and 2000, then polish it up with good metal polish with a Dremel buffer wheel. If you're just redressing, you could start with a higher grit depending on the condition of the frets.
