Im a noob, and i assume that you just dont go and make one without propper planning... is there a software out there that is good for constructing prototypes? westhemann Posted December 3, 2003 Report Share Posted December 3, 2003 i don't really plan ahead much.i buy a body wood,decide what shape would complement the wood,decide on the type of neck and how to make the neck angle(or lack of) work with the bridge.only thing i plan ahead of time is the scale length.but i do draw the body out on posterboard first.i use measurements to draw out the neck directly on my neck wood.
