sjaguar13
What kind of bridge do I need with a Bigsby style tailpiece and is there any place to get that spring and bar for the tailpiece?
Snork
it depends how far back you mount the bigsby. sometimes the bigsbys come with a retention bar with them. i think you can use a regular bridge if it doesnt come with a bar and you mount it farther back. sjaguar13
I don't see any screw holes in my guitar where the bridge went. I wanted to keep it close to original as possible.
Snork
what type of guitar are we talkin about? the bigsby is mainly for archtop style guitars. like semi hollow. but you can get them for solid bodies. although i dont see why you would. Because if your replacing a tune-o-matic, there should be 2 large screw holes in back and 2 small ones for the rentention bar.
