I try my best to keep the kits that go out the door acceptable for what they are represented as, this particular kit would only be good for a solid color finish since the bookmatch line of the veneer is off center on the body. Other then that it's a great kit so if you always wanted one of these and plan on doing a solid finish here is your chance at a bargin. Almost forgot it weigths approximately 17 lbs. Brian Posted December 15, 2003 Author Report Share Posted December 15, 2003 The average weight of the kit guitar's with box and all is about 16lbs, but I have found the postal system website isn't accurate vs the actual counter when it comes to the price on large packages so I always add 1 lb to the weight for oversized packages to calculate a more accurate cost.
