Snork
how would you go with a 1-1-1-2 configuration? or 3 single coils and a humbucker? how would you wire that?
westhemann
easiest way would be a mini toggle (on/off) for each pickup...also the most versatile.
guitar_ed
Howdy, Another way to do it is a voulme knob for each PUP, one master tone, and no switch. If you go to www.seymourduncan.com and use the Jazz Bass schematic as your model, you won't go wrong. It is what I chose to do on the BeatCaster for my 3 single coil PUPs. You can see it Here
MikeB
yeh, go with toggles i think. out of curiosity why 3 s/c and 1 hb quite a few p/ups. mike
weezerboy
why not use three of the single coil sized humbuckers and a single motherbucker (4 coils in a humbucker size) just to make it truly confusing
Ace
I think you'd have to make a thinline guitar just for fitting all the wires in there...and wildly scattered control knobs all over the front of the instrument to go with it... so long ace
Speedy McFeely
i think i'd go 4 full sized humbuckers. with induvidual vol and tone pots, and 2 rotary switches for series/parallel, in/out of phase, and coil splitting. oh yeah and a pre amp to have total versatility, but probably not too practical. arrowheadguitars
why not use three of the single coil sized humbuckers and a single motherbucker (4 coils in a humbucker size) just to make it truly confusing there must be room for at least three motherbuckers surely ?
