Asomodai
Ok guys, my good buddy streamline has said to me that he could scallop my telecasters fretboard, entirety of it. The thing is, i want to know if scalloping my fretboard would have any tracking defects on the midi system i also have built into it. Such as string tension etc. Im very worried. Also would the scalloping effect a fernandes sustainer in anyway ? thanks

jbkim
Read this thread in it's entirety for back reference. Basically it's all in your playing/technique. If you play "correctly" with a nice soft touch, I'd think you'd have no problem with midi tracking. Well, no more than you already had . Scalloping won't make you a better player (unfortunately .) Saber
A midi pickup can track string bends so a scalloped fretboard should pose no problem.
