Thruneck Blank Size Question

the libraray was supposed to be getting me Melvin Hiscock's and Martin Koch's books and they have been " in transit" for 2 weeks from a different

libraray now they are saying they got lost

so now i gotta go buy them ..no biggie but i read a ton and alway try the library first

BUT in the meantime id like to laminate my body wing blanks and neck blank

SO ! with a recesssed bridge and no neck angle would a 3" x3" neck blank need a scarfed headstock ? is 3x3 big enough?
