LGM Guitars Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 well, use more glitter LOL!!!!!!! Basically, the playboy guitar inlay was a total neck mod which required a body mod as well. The hard part, the whole guitar is holographic glitter, here's what it looked like after the filler blocks and new route: And here it is after the touch up I'm pretty pleased Quote
bowser Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 man i think anyone would be pleased with that, i can't see any difference at all in the second pic! is that really glitter on the top? oh and nice inlay too, that fretboard looks really cool, it's nice and wavy Quote
The Nordic Gawd Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 great job lgm. normally i think glitter is tacky but that is real nice. Quote
renablistic Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 i can see no prob, but I could see a mouse 1000 yards away. It looks great, i like it. Quote

The Nordic Gawd Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 oh. lol i thought you said you didnt have a problem seeing the pic or something. lol. nm Quote
Page_Master Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 i looked at the post touch up pic first, kinda like a "where's wolly?" book, but instead "where's the touch up? i couldn't find it, until i looked at the pre touch up pic. serious! LGM, i shall call you from this day on: "The Artist". Quote
LGM Guitars Posted December 18, 2003 Author Report Posted December 18, 2003 That's the thing, if you see the pre touch up picture, your mind can find the touch up. With the random glitter patterns in the original paint, you really can't tell the difference between the original and the new. Once it's polished out it will be all but invisible Quote
syxxstring Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 looks great, did you mix the paint or buy it premixed? Quote
Page_Master Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 he can't tell you that dude, it's a trade secret. Quote
