HumanFuseBen Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 Hey again! okay, more on my rg7421 project..... body is now stained bright green (yay! looks great!) with a natural stripe going down the center of the guitar. i was planning on doing the good old 'natural binding' trick, but my tape leaked in a few spots... so now what i'm thinking is i'm going to stain some black "binding" around the edge of the body using india ink! should look pretty sweet with the bright green, i think. so, my question is, will poly be alright on the stain AND the ink? i'm worried it would make it run for some reason. maybe i'm just being paranoid! also, should i go with the minwax wipe-on poly or the spray on? thanks a lot, you guys have made this project easy!
