The Nordic Gawd Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 anyone know about this unit? Quote
Bingo328 Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 I messed around with one in the store a while back. Basically it's a very small four-track. If I remember correctly you can store up to 64 virtual tracks and it all records on to a memory card like you use in a digital camera. The digital effects on it sound terrrible like most on-board digital effects, and the prerocorded precussion beats are pretty lame. But if your looking for a small recording console it's a better deal than the Boss BR4, which has pretty much the same options. The Korg seemed more user friendly to me. When I priced it almost a year ago it was in the low 3's but I'm sure it has come down now. Just try it out and ask tons of questions to the guys in the store. Hope that helps, Scott Quote
The Nordic Gawd Posted December 20, 2003 Author Report Posted December 20, 2003 not the recorder dude. the multi effects thanks for your help dude Quote
quito195 Posted December 20, 2003 Report Posted December 20, 2003 *if* I remember correctly theres 2 one thats just multi fx and another thats the fx and the on board recorder I'm sure both use the same fx processor. I havent played one since I had any appreciation for tone but I liked it cause it was versatile. Quote
Jon Bell Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 My friend's got one. It's great for headphone practice but I don't think it sounds good enough for recording and it's definitely not practical for gigging. Quote
