lavern
This is my first build and I'm trying to figure out which bridge to buy based on cost, ( a combo bridge tail piece would be fine) and ease of installation etc. They all list a string spacing. My scale length is 25.5 with anut width of 1 and 5/8. If I stretch a couple of strings evenly spaced along the neck from the e string slots it seems to be about 2 1/8 but that doesn't match any of the string spacings listed in the stew-mack catalogue. Keegan
2-1/16" or 2-3/32" isn't good enough?
Xanthus
I actually like my fretboards a little wide, so the outer Es don't slip off. And my thoughts that you'll notice the extra 16th".... is pretty nil. And if you're building your own neck, you have that great advantage of making it to your own specs. SJE-Guitars
As with many things . . . a scale drawing and using CAD makes it even easier.
