i was recently looking at the major benefits of a 7 string. however there are no pickups for a 7 string that are comparable to the holy grails blues and sound wise. at least that i'm aware of. can someone please direct me to a site with great pickups for a 7 string? please dont post something sarcastic like google. if you dont know dont post.

it might be tough, not a lot of blues guys goin 7 string. now there are a ton of jazz guys who use 7 strings, john pizzarelli comes to mind. maybe do a search on him, then find out who makes his pick ups. just a thought.

Hmm....I have to admit that I dont understand you. There is no famous blues-player I know who plays a 7-string. If you are aiming for a typical blues sound why do you want to use a 7-string at all? Playing blues on a 7-string will not sound traditional anway....
