USMCHueston0311
I checked at the local harbor freight, and they have .5 ton, and a 1 ton arbor press in stock. Which would be the best option for fret pressing? The .5 ton is 29.99, and I will order the cauls/radius bars from stewmac, and have them drilled and setup just like stewmacs. I bought the 1/2 ton because the were out of 1 tons when I was there. It's fine and I've fretted a half dozen necks or so with it, but there are times when the extra reach of the 1 ton would have been nice. verhoevenc
Like I told you over messenger, a half ton is perfectly fine and you won't have to worry about denting softer woods like rosewoods and maple with it as much as a 1 ton.
