tim_ado
so... to get to the crux of the issue. what is the easiest way, to get this upto a effects pedal standard?
Nalo1022
The easiest way is to spend the money on proper parts, and design a circuit that has guitar signal in mind. This probably won't be the cheapest or quickest solution. Like I said before, you need to find out what the specs of the tank are. There should be some markings on it somewhere that will look like a serial number. If you can find that we may be able to find out the input and output impedance of the the tank and then we can help you design a proper circuit. As it stands right now all we know is that you have some reverb unit from an organ, but you have to realize that not every reverb tank is the same. A couple people here have already given you some great starting points regarding how to get this effect working well. To build a good effect you are going to have to drop some cash into this project. If you want to do it with what you have available the effect can be brought up to a working state, but it may not be optimal. The current configuration you have works, but not well. Without knowing the specs of the reverb unit there is no real way to give you a definite answer. It would be like walking into a restaurant and simply saying you wanted some food, you would be able to get some but it may not be exactly what you wanted because the waiter did have the info he needed to tell the kitchen what to prepare. Paul Marossy
I think you need to build something like this circuit: http://sound.westhost.com/project34.htm Someone recently built it, and it sounds pretty good. Have a listen: http://soundcloud.com/jammybstard/sets/reverb-stompbox-tests

Paul Marossy
You could get some of the parts at RadioShack, but they won't have everything you need as their selection in stores is extremely limited these days. Places like http://www.digikey.com and http://www.mouser.com would have 95% of the components that you would need to build the circuit. You can even get stuff from http://www.radioshack.com too. Nalo1022
mouser.com is international and a good source for most electronics components.
