Hey guys. I dont have the time/know how to build on of mykas neck jigs. And my car is in storage now, and I have no easy way to make it off base to the home depot for materials. I will pay for someone to buld me a neck pocket jig, which also allows for body/neck angle.

Grab some good square pine timber, a pencil and a ruler. Unless you're making several instruments, it's not worth making such a jig.

+1. David gives a pretty good description here. It doesn't need to be anything fancy. You'd laugh if you saw my first one -- I used scrap flooring, part of an old cabinet door and bits left over from various home improvement projects.

making jigs is the craft;

i dont like mykas jig as much as i thought i did; but i use the same techniques as 'the jig' for making my neck templates for odd sizes.
