How To Fix This Binding

I got finished scraping the binding and leveling it to the guitar, but there is tool marks, and some knicks in the binding from where the scraper chattererd, how can i smooth these out? Maybe some acetone on a cotton bal?

I have only worked with plastic binding once, and did not have this problem.. But could it be as simple as going a little easier with the scraper to smooth it out? I personally wouldnt be comfortable using solvents and stuff on the attached binding..

if its plastic binding id use wet and dry paper, depends on the plastic though what it will turn out like.

Go lightly and change the angle.

Id just carefully go round it with a brand new razor blade... Sanding will make it go fluffy and will probably need scraping again afterwards anyway
