avengers63 Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 Anyone have more than an educated guess about it's tone? Because of the tight grain and weight, my gut says it'd be more bright than warm. I'm wanting to use it for a neck, paired up with a chambered walnut body. Quote
Our Souls inc. Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Just a guess , but I imagine the tone has more to do with how many feathers that tree had............. ( i know I'm no help ) Quote

I swapped the original (badly cracked) rock maple neck on a Strat for one I made from canary wood, and there was no distinguishable difference in the tone. Quote
