Untitled_Project
I was just watching the Steve Vai video where he is playing with the orchestra (a must see), and I finally noticed how his floyd rose was routed...I overlooked this before. Other fr guitars just have a box pattern routed.... Is it necessary to route that way? What is beneficial of that routing pattern? Any negatives that you can think of? DC Ross
It's for recess mounted Floyds. It allows for easier access to the string clamps and for pulling up on the trem.
