Orbital Sanders That Still Use Adhesive Backed Discs

I have an unlimited supply of 3M adhesive backed sanding discs,

but I'm having trouble fining an orbital sander that accepts them.

All I can find are the loop and hook models.

Any suggestions????

Craigslist or this pneumatic one with this pad for PSA discs is an option if you have a good compressor.

Hmmm.... actually, I believe Lowe's sells a hook and loop rubber pad so you can use "stickies". Also, if I remember correctly, most companies (I know Porter Cable does) offer replacement pads that will accept them regardless of sander.

try an automotive paint suply place they use the hookits a lot in body shops.

well i called my local Grangier..they have one left. Its a dewalt 5" PSA random orbital sander. $78

now i can finally use all this self adhesive sand paper i have laying around. yee-haw

All sanders are convertible buy buying a replacement pad for PSA paper. You will not find these products at Lowe's, granger (ouch price) but at sanding specialty suppliers. Google PSA replacement pad (Manufacture name goes here). may be cheaper than buying the last granger PSA sander and you have a brand choice and can convert back.

So when the glue dries out on all theat old PSA Paper you can go back to Hook and Loop sheets.
