syphon33775 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 Hi, I am looking at putting a humbucker bridge in my made in Mexico standard Tele. The problem I am having is that the string spacing on the current bridge looks like its 2-1/8" or 2-5/32" and I cant seem to find any humbucker bridge that seems to fit the same spacing. I dont know if it would be that big of a deal if I got one thats 2-3/32" or if that would be the end of the world. The overall dimensions you stated shouldn't be a problem, still well within average neck width on your average tele. Measure the fretboard width and make sure you have about 1/8" extra room.
