Metallion Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Asked Peavey this: Is there any Body-Neck angle on the Cirrus 6-string fretless Bass models? The Angle between body and neck, is it straight like on a Fender or angled as on a Les Paul (~2 dgrs)? What is this Cirrus B-N angle, if any? Peavey refused to answer, secret information according to them. Anyone got a Cirrus to confirm any body-neck-angle and what that angle might be? Quote
DC Ross Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 "Secret information?" Seriously? When anyone can just go to GC and measure it for themselves? Neat. Quote
Metallion Posted September 14, 2010 Author Report Posted September 14, 2010 "Secret information?" Seriously? When anyone can just go to GC and measure it for themselves? Neat. Peavey CS: "propriatary information and cannot be disclosed." Anyone have this angle info? Quote
Metallion Posted September 22, 2010 Author Report Posted September 22, 2010 Did some theoretical calculation and found 0.64-0.63 to be a plausible angle for the Cirrus body-neck angle. Anyone to confirm this? Quote
DC Ross Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 A couple of things: 1. If you can actually route the neck angle accurately to 1/100 of a degree, I applaud you. 2. Go here to figure out the angle using measurements from the bridge you'll be using. Quote
Metallion Posted September 24, 2010 Author Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) Did some theoretical calculation and found 0.64-0.63 to be a plausible angle for the Cirrus body-neck angle. Anyone to confirm this? Correction: it should be 1.1 dgr body-neck angle. Edited September 24, 2010 by Metallion Quote
