Hotrock
I'm not sure about the Floyd Rose that Gotoh do but I've bought a set of Gotoh hardware (TOM bridge, Tail Piece, Tuners, Knobs, Jack socket plate and Neck plate) and I'm more than happy. The quality seems very good and I'm very happy with what I got for the price.

Guest AlexVDL
The gotoh floyd rose Brian sells are excellent. IMO one of the best floyd out there. Very stable and as sturdy as the OFR (original floyd rose) but much better constructed (better features). No wonder for instance ErnieBall/Musicman and G&L guitars uses them on their high end models
GuitarMaestro
Do the Gotoh Floyds have hardened steel inserts for the saddles and knive edges? What material are they made of? And do they sell a 7-string version?
JFC
The Ibanez edge and Lopro are made by Gotoh, I think, or?

And do they sell a 7-string version? Nope, the whole baseplate is hardened steel just like the OFR. Impossible to get worn knife edges because it's very hard No 7 string version that I know of
GuitarMaestro
Thanks for the info Alex. Does anyone know if Gotoh makes a 7-string Floyd?

Brian
I haven't been able to locate a 7 string Gotoh, I do know Gotoh's are manufactured in Japan though and if they have them out there sooner or later one will show up. Personaly I like the base plate of the Ibanez's because I grew up on them (just for looks) but the case hard steel of the other models seem to last longer with heavy abuse like Alex said.
